The purpose of this role is to develop media plans, optimise and ensure timely execution of all marketing campaigns whilst supporting the team in reporting and managing client accounts.

The role encompasses:
- Involvement in the media strategy development process.
- Development of media plans that build from the core media idea.
- Ensuring the implementation of plans through to their delivery and quality control of all buys.
- Ensuring all media goals and strategies are managed and executed within budgets.
- Ensure due diligence on media budgets.
- Day to day project management of media solutions.
- Work closely with the ad ops, finance, and offshore teams to ensure quality of the work.
 
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of media plans and campaigns
- Work with your line manager to understand the client’s business objectives and media strategy.
- Liaison with media vendors, to support in developing media strategies and campaigns.
- Primarily develop, deliver, and maintain digital media plans based on a deep understanding of client goals and objectives.
- Work closely with ad trafficking team, site tagging team, ad ops team & campaign tagging team where necessary.
 
2. Activation of media campaigns
- For self-served platforms, ensure that campaigns are setup and executed accurately based on signed plans.
- For managed service medias, ensure that the relevant third parties are brief accurately and to follow up on media execution in a timely manner.
- Ensure all campaigns are monitored closely & pacing well.
- Timely delivery and upkeep of all relevant reporting systems and templates (media plans, interim reports reports).
- Management of post campaign reporting that quantifies the value of the media strategy.
 
Requirements:
- 1-2 years’ experience in a Performance, social media or biddable media team
An understanding of digital media buying and activation (beyond social preferable)
- An understanding of search activation
- Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, for liaising with colleagues, clients, and media owners
- Literacy skills for writing reports and presentations.
- Ability to work with databases and spreadsheets and PowerPoint, for the collection and management of information.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
