About the Role
Social Media Lead/Producer (Female)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Strategise, plan, schedule and organise content for FEMALE’s social media platforms
- Ideate and oversee production of content for FEMALE’s social media platforms, ensuring it aligns with FEMALE’s goals, values and message as the documentor of style and youth culture
- Oversee and liaise with content producers (in-house and external) and any other collaborators (eg. video editors) involved in the content production for FEMALE’s social media platforms
- Optimise FEMALE’s social media content for the different platforms, formats and devices, and ensure it’s engaging, informative and shareable
- Monitor and analyse performance of FEMALE’s social media content using various metrics and tools to evaluate effectiveness, and improve content and strategy accordingly
- Create original content including videos and graphics, as well as repurpose existing content from other sources for FEMALE’s social media platforms
- Write captions for all social media posts
- Front content when relevant/asked to
- Write stories for FEMALE’s website when relevant/appropriate
- Interest in and knowledge of creating engaging content for social media especially Instagram and TikTok
- Interest in and knowledge of fashion, pop culture, subcultures, lifestyle and media
- Up to speed with the latest trends, topics and hashtags relevant to FEMALE’s brand and target audience
- Understanding of the algorithms, features and best practices of each social media platform and how to leverage them to increase visibility, reach and engagement
- Knowledge of various tools and techniques such as SEO, hashtags, captions, links to boost exposure and engagement
- Experienced with Sprout Social, Google Analytics and other programmes used to analyse performance of social media content
- Experienced with Premiere Pro, Capcut and other video editing software/apps
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
- Creative with an eye/taste for design
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Good interpersonal and project management skills
