We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Executive to support our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in FMCG and/or grocery retail, particularly in sales, marketing, or distribution to supermarkets; and possess strong analytical skills to evaluate market data, sales performance, and marketing impact.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Support:
  • Assist in managing relationships with key supermarket clients and retail partners.
  • Support the development and implementation of sales strategies.
  • Conduct detailed market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive activity.
  • Prepare sales reports and provide insights into performance metrics for both our brands and partner brands
2. Marketing Assistance:
  • Help develop and coordinate marketing campaigns, promotions, and in-store activities.
  • Work closely with external brands and agencies to execute marketing plans.
  • Assist with designing and managing point-of-sale (POS) materials, product displays, and merchandising.
  • Coordinate social media, digital, and traditional marketing efforts.
3. Analytical and Reporting Functions:
  • Conduct data analysis on sales trends, customer behaviour, and market conditions to inform decision-making.
  • Create and maintain dashboards for sales and marketing performance tracking.
  • Analyse promotional effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement.
4. Product and Client Management:
  • Assist in managing stock levels and ensuring timely replenishment for key clients.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to coordinate product launches and promotions.
  • Provide customer service and support to supermarket clients.
 
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, or distribution within the FMCG industry.
  • Experience working with both branded products and agency brands.
  • Knowledge of POS design and merchandising strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of supermarket operations and retail distribution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and market analysis software.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
