Planning:
  • Develop media strategy, channel recommendations and prepare the detailed media flowplan
  • Liaise with media owners for proposals
  • Experience with media planning and audience insights software
  • Collect and analyse data to determine best media mix for campaigns
  • Engage clients and creative agencies on day to day operations
  • Various campaign reports on local/regional/global levels
  • Ensuring all media goals and strategies are delivered and executed within budgets.
 
Buying:
  • Lead the implementational planning process
  • Negotiate with media owners for better rates and value adds
  • Book ads – both managed service and self-service
  • Prepare Copy Instructions/material specs
  • Liaise with media vendors & creative agencies for material submission
  • Digital ad ops (campaign set up on self-serve platforms
  • Tag ads and client’s site, ensure ads are properly served and tags are firing)
  • Monitor ads during campaign period, weekly digital reporting, end of campaign reporting, reconciliation of final costs for finance billings
  • Implementation of plans through to their delivery and quality control of all buys.
  • Ensuring all media goals and strategies are delivered and executed within budgets.
  • Client liaison for campaign approvals.
  • Broad knowledge of media channels and familiarity with campaign evaluation metrics and media buying
  • Day to day management and ownership of implementation process. Ensure brief is delivered / brought to plan, within appropriate criteria (budget, target …).
  • Provide written brief to Buyers for all media.
  • Principal client contact for the whole implementation process (from presentation of detailed recommendations to negotiation and inventory management issues).
  • Timely delivery and upkeep of all relevant reporting systems and templates (media plans, contact reports, status reports).
  • Management of post campaign reporting that quantifies the value of the media strategy.
 
Client relationship management:
  • Day to day account management of key clients
 
Finance:
  • Ensure billing of invoices in internal systems and liaising with clients for PO’s
 
Managing specialist relationships:
  • Internal: Manage relationships with specialist teams internally - clear and accurate briefing of them.
  • External: Build effective working relationships with creative agency personnel plus other specialist agency personnel.
