The Sales Specialist (Data) plays a big role in driving strategic and solution selling on large opportunities characterised by a complex combination of technical and business issues related to customers strategic and tactical direction.
 
You will play a big role in understanding the customers business objectives and the technical components of our solutions and utilising a deliberate sales methodology in achieving sales objectives.

Job Description:
  1. Identify and approach potential customers.
  2. Working closely with Googles Sales team and other solution providers if required for solution sell.
  3. Work with our solutions team to sell and effectively articulate the value proposition and diagnose the prospective clients business needs and problems.
  4. Act as the SPOC for your clients for future business and relationship management.
  5. Negotiate and manage complex sales cycles and present proposals to C-level executives in corporate and global customers.
  6. Customer management leadership skills.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 3 5 years experience in Sales and / or Delivery of Data / Business Intelligence / Business Analytics solutions.
  2. Applicant should possess experience and knowledge of:
    • Cloud Technology (GCP / AWS / Azure).
    • Containerisation, API Management, Data Analytics, AI/ML, Data Engineering type services.
    • Cloud certifications is a plus (Google Cloud Architect / Cloud Digital Leader, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
    • Understanding of the challenges of cloud usage.
  3. Proven ability to precisely manage and forecast a complex sale process.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills; can quickly build rapport and deliver compelling, persuasive arguments to an executive-level audience.
  5. Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with a creative approach to work.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Proven prospecting and sales cycle management skills.
